Masala Chai Old Fashioned

Instructions
To make the syrup, boil water with chai, cardamom, and cinnamon for 5 minutes.
Strain, add sugar, and stir until dissolved. Let it cool.
In a glass, add bourbon/rum, masala chai syrup, and bitters.
Stir well with ice until chilled.
Strain into a glass with a large ice cube.
Garnish with orange peel.

- 60 ml bourbon or dark rum
- 15 ml masala chai syrup
- 2–3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Ice cubes
- Orange peel (for garnish)
